Network Engineer – Level3

Level 3 Network Engineers are responsible for architecting, configuring, enhancing, and troubleshooting Client environments. They are expected to contribute to the dynamic needs of Clients in a variety of technology branches, including, but not limited to: Network Infrastructure, Server Infrastructure, and IT Management.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conduct client assessments to include documenting the current IT infrastructure and user environment, including hardware and software recommendations
  • Implement and troubleshoot client infrastructure
  • Meet project management deadlines consistently and on-time
  • Communicate any changes or inabilities to meet scheduled deadlines to management and/or customer
  • Client Relations
  • Serve as a technical resource/escalation point for other engineers
  • Perform technical research/product evaluation
  • Assist in creating configuration standards & guides
  • Proficiency in ICG Cloud configuration and troubleshooting
  • Manage competing timelines and prioritize critical tasks
  • Work autonomously and with minimal supervision
  • Execute on internal projects as needed
  • Resolve problems independently but also utilize other resources when needed
  • Communicate internally and externally with vendors, clients and team members in a professional and timely manner
  • Continually seek opportunities to increase client satisfaction and deepen client relationships
  • Be a professional and a positive team player
